Closing Reception Anna McCarthy with a Live-Music-Performance by Tagar, Sat, July 28, 2012, 7-9 pm

For the closing reception of the exhibition MAPS ARE ALWAYS WRONGF NEVER RIGHT by Anna McCarthy, artist and musician Tagar performs a composition entitled “Croweater”, inspired by Anna McCarthy’s drawing “Eating Crow”.

Tagar has taken part in many of Anna McCarthy's works in the past - for instance, in the theater project ICH DACHTE MAN DARF ALLES (I THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS ALLOWED), both the book and the performance REVOLUTION AND ITS MUSES, and as an actor in different films, such as BORED REBEL IM WESTEND and BORED REBELS GOING UNDERGROUND which is currently on display at Esther Donatz Gallery.

Tagar runs the music label YRUSMTSIM and plays in different bands, among others Das Weiße Pferd, Kamerakino & HONIG.
